## 1. EMPLOYMENT

## 2. CONSIDERATION
In exchange for continued employment and access to confidential information, the Employee agrees to the following restrictions.
## 3. NON-COMPETE COVENANT
During employment and for {{restriction_period}} following termination for any reason, the Employee agrees not to:
- Work for a competing business within the restricted area
- Start a competing business within the restricted area
- Have an ownership interest in a competing business
- Provide consulting services to a competing business
## 4. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION

## 5. DEFINITION OF COMPETING BUSINESS

## 6. NON-SOLICITATION OF CUSTOMERS

The Employee acknowledges having access to confidential information and agrees to maintain its confidentiality indefinitely.
## 9. REASONABLENESS
Both parties acknowledge these restrictions are reasonable and necessary to protect the Employer's legitimate business interests.
## 10. REMEDIES
The Employee acknowledges that violation would cause irreparable harm. The Employer shall be entitled to injunctive relief and any other available legal remedies.
## 11. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to be enforceable, and all other provisions remain in effect.
## 12. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of {{governing_state}}.
